The amounts of this heavy water in comet Atlas are very high, and this is a value never seen before in any study of other planetary systems or celestial bodies. different.
This comet has attracted the attention of the entire scientific community, and based on observations and studies, it turns out to have been formed 12 billion years ago, i.e. almost at the beginning of the creation of the Universe.
The data also show that it arrives from a much colder environment and with lower radiation levels.
