New details have become known regarding the serious case that happened in the Ferizaj Emergency, where it is suspected that a mother has deprived her newborn baby of her life.

According to the sources of Klan Kosova journalist, Arbreshë Uka, the 21-year-old woman initially presented to the emergency with abdominal pain, not declaring that she was pregnant.

“The woman went to the Emergency with pain. the belly, it’s not clear that she is pregnant, she went to the toilet and gave birth to the baby, the staff heard the toilet water several times and went into the toilet to see if she was okay, they found the baby in the toilet and she wanted to suffocate,” the source told Klan Kosova.

According to the same sources, during the inspection of the toilet, by the health workers, the baby was found there, while it is suspected that she also had signs of suffocation.

“When she went to the emergency room, they asked her about her pregnancy, she said she had her period a week ago, and there is a statement that she doesn’t know, plus the baby has signs of suffocation”, the source told journalist Uka. by the prosecutor’s decision, the dead body of the baby has been sent for autopsy, while the case is being handled in a regular investigative procedure.
