Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has spoken after Bayern Munich’s elimination from the Champions League, stressing that his team lacked concreteness in the decisive moments.
Bayern drew 1-1 with PSG in the second leg, but the aggregate result gave the French team qualification.
“I think tonight we lacked that ‘killer’ instinct in attack. However, we had the chances to win it.” The match,” Neuer said to DAZN.
He admitted that Bayern Munich didn’t create many clear chances, but emphasized that these are the moments that should be used in such matches.
“We didn’t have many clear chances, but when you create these moments, you have to take them. Look at Paris – they were ruthless, they scored like in the first game.”
“That’s what we needed tonight. We were very close to the final, but we didn’t manage to finish the job”, concluded the captain of the Bavarians.
