17 thousand Kosovo asylum-seekers have returned

Prishtina – Ministry of Internal Affairs has confirmed the return of 17 thousand Kosovo asylum-seekers.

Asylum seekers and their reintegration has been the main topic of discussion at a table where Interior Minister Skender Hyseni had city mayors of Kosovo gathered.

Hyseni said that the ministry together with the municipalities will have to continue with awareness campaigns and funds repatriation benefits.

According to Hyseni the meeting took place after his consultations with the Prime Minister and Minister of European Integration to deal jointly with this issue, which is one of the criteria for visa liberalization.
