With 90 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions, the Assembly of Kosovo has approved the resolution proposed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, which aims to protect the victims and guarantee the historical truth about the war of 1998-1999.

The resolution also includes a point for initiating the punishment of persons who deny or minimize the crimes committed by Serbian forces during the conflict.

Its proposal came after a exhibition in the square of Pristina, which presented inaccurate data about the massacres in Kosovo.
