Eight policemen of Kosovo have been highly appreciated for their work in the service of citizens
They, on the recommendation of the General Director Gazmend Hoxha, today received the “Medal for saving lives”, as a sign of gratitude for their extraordinary courage, professionalism and dedication during interventions to save human lives.
This was announced through an announcement from the KP, Klankosova.tv broadcasts.
The Minister in Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, highly appreciated the humane and noble act of the police officers, emphasizing that they, by risking their lives, gave meaning to the mission of the Kosovo Police.
“I am very happy that we are here together today, to honor the work of our eight police officers, who with their humane and noble act, risking themselves, gave meaning to the mission of the Kosovo Police. These acts. prove that, in addition to high professionalism, our police officers also carry great human values”, he said.
According to Sveçla, the actions of police officers are evidence of the Kosovo Police’s unwavering commitment to citizens, especially in critical moments when seconds make the difference between life and death.
While the head of law enforcement, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, described the intervention of police officers as an extraordinary act of courage and humanitarianism, emphasizing that they did not hesitate for a moment to act to save human lives.
“Your courageous and professional actions are a good example and a great source of inspiration for all police officers who wear this uniform across the country. You proved that the KP uniform is not just an official garment, but carries a humanitarian mission and a great responsibility towards the citizens and the country”, emphasized Director Hoxha.
At the end of ceremony, it was emphasized that the Kosovo Police continues to remain among the most trusted institutions in the country, thanks to the dedication and willingness of its officials to serve in any circumstance.
