Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed Tehran’s appreciation for the “impressive solidarity of the Turkish people with Iran”, the Iranian Presidency said today.
“We appreciate Turkey’s stance in condemning the brutal attacks against Iran and especially the impressive solidarity of the Turkish people with Iran”, Pezeshkian said during a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The ceasefire agreement reached between Iran and the US, which also includes Israel, should cover all fronts in the region, including Lebanon, Pezeshkian stressed.

Iran accepted the ceasefire to maintain regional stability and prevent the escalation of conflicts, Pezeshkian said, adding: “The continuation of the ceasefire depends on the true fulfillment of the other side’s obligations”.
The call came after heated hostilities in the region, fueled by joint US-Israeli attacks on Iran that began on February 28, which left thousands dead and wounded. wounded.
