Iran has submitted a new proposal to Pakistan for the resumption of negotiations with the US, with the aim of reaching an agreement to end the war, reports Anadolu.
According to the official Iranian news agency IRNA, Iran last night submitted the latest draft proposal for negotiations to Pakistan.
The report did not provide details on the content of the new proposal.
The US and Israel launched attacks on Iran on February 28, which prompted retaliation by Tehran against US allies in the Persian Gulf and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
A ceasefire was announced on April 8 through the mediation of Pakistan, followed by talks in Islamabad on April 11 and 12, but no agreement was reached.
US President Donald Trump then unilaterally extended the ceasefire, at the request of Pakistan, but without setting a new deadline.
