The court session failed to be held in the case between the “Capat” and “Sekiraqa” groups, which is related to the armed clash for revenge motives where P.G. was killed, as the psychiatric expertise for the accused Valdrin Ademi has not yet been completed.
According to the judge of the case, Fatima Dermaku, the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry has announced that the psychiatric and psychological expertise for Ademi has not been completed, therefore in its absence his mental state and ability to stand trial cannot be ascertained, reports “Oath for Justice”.
As a result, the trial cannot continue until the expert’s report is ready.
The Institute of Psychiatry has announced that about two more weeks are needed to complete the report.
Meanwhile, the next hearing is expected to be scheduled after the expertise is submitted, which will determine whether the accused is able to participate in the judicial process.
Such a thing was made known by the judge of the case, Fatima Dermaku, who stated that the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry has announced that the psychiatric expertise has not yet been completed, therefore in its absence it cannot be known if the accused Valdrin Ademi is ready to undergo the trial.
Otherwise, in this session it was planned to read the indictment and the declaration of the accused regarding the guilt was made.
On February 12, 2026, the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina filed an indictment against nine persons: Korab Gashi, Valdrin Ademi, Robert Llumnica, Salih Sekiraqa, Fatos Abazi, Erd Marevci, Endrit Llapashtica, Dardan Marevci and Vesel Bunjaku, in connection with the murder of P,G,, on September 1, 2024 in the Aktash neighborhood in Prishtina.
According to the indictment, the case is related to an armed clash between two groups in the bar “From”, where P.G. was killed as a result, and several other people were injured.
