The Foreign Ministers of Turkey and Iran hold a telephone conversation

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, according to diplomatic sources, Anadolu reports.

The two ministers discussed the latest developments in the ongoing negotiation process between Iran and the US, Turkish Foreign Ministry sources added.

Pakistan brokered a ceasefire in the US-Israel war on Iran on April 8 and then facilitated peace talks in Islamabad.

While the ceasefire remains in place, efforts to bring a definitive end to the conflict have continued since then.
