The Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has reiterated his position that Kosovo needs a consensual president after the early elections of June 7.

“We need a consensual president”, Kurti told the media after participating in the Italy-Kosovo Forum for Agri Business.

Kurti had given this position weeks ago, after the announcement of the elections, where he said that they are ready again for talks with other parties to reach a deal for the president.

The failure to elect the president led the country to early parliamentary elections.
