Jevtiq is sentenced to 6 years in prison for espionage

Bojan Jevtiq, former lieutenant of the Kosovo Police, accused of espionage, has been sentenced to 6 years in prison for espionage and a fine of 2,000 euros for possession of weapons without a permit.

The decision was made on Monday at the Basic Court of Pristina.

Jevtiq had reached an agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office to plead guilty.

Jevtiq is suspected of having enabled the BIA official access to the official computer, endangering the police, national security and constitutional order.

He was arrested in July last year.
