The Bishop of Kosovo, Dodë Gjergji was the first to visit the mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava at the reception organized in BIK on the occasion of the Feast of Kurban Bayram.

Even Gjergji, like Tërnava earlier on the occasion of the prayer of Kurban Bayram, conveyed the need for political unity.

“I am here to express our gratitude, so that as always, we witness mutual respect, interfaith coexistence, and sharing the feelings of the holiday. Every holiday is a human awareness to submit to the love that comes from heaven…. It is a good moment to pray for our country, and for our politics, to calm down and take responsibility, but where we will lead the future of children ours”, he said.

And, earlier – on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr prayer, mufti Tërnava declared before the Muslim faithful that the campaign of accusations and hatred does not serve the future of Kosovo.

These statements of the religious leaders came on the eve of the early elections that will be held on June 7 in Kosovo, one day before the official opening of the campaign.
