The President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, has congratulated the Palestinian people at home and abroad, as well as the entire Arab and Islamic world, on the occasion of the holiday of Kurban Bayram.

In his message, Abbas expressed the hope that this holiday will return to the Palestinians with the end of the war in the Gaza Strip and the cessation of attacks on Palestinian cities, villages and refugee camps in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

He also emphasized the desire to realize the aspirations of the Palestinian people for freedom, independence and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The Palestinian president prayed for God’s mercy on those killed during the conflict, for the speedy recovery of the wounded and for the release of Palestinian prisoners.

At the end of the message, Abbas also congratulated the peoples and leaders of the Arab countries and Islamic, expressing the desire for health, stability, progress and well-being for all Islamic nations. /message
