Seven Palestinians injured in Israeli attack on a residential building in central Gaza

According to medical sources, seven Palestinians were injured early Friday morning in an Israeli attack that targeted a residential building in central Gaza without prior warning.

Injuries ranged from moderate to serious, with the injured transferred to several hospitals across the city, sources told Anadolu.

Witnesses said an Israeli helicopter struck commercial warehouses located below the Haraz building near Yarmouk Stadium in the center. of Gaza, causing injuries.

In a separate statement, Gaza’s Directorate of Civil Defense said its crew extinguished a fire that broke out at the site after the attack and evacuated a number of wounded.

In a separate incident, local sources said Israeli naval forces opened fire with machine guns and shelled fishing boats and the Gaza coastline.

Israeli artillery also bombarded areas of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza, accompanied by gunfire from military vehicles, although no casualties were immediately reported.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 922 Palestinians have been killed and 2,786 wounded in Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10, 2025.

Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, launched on 8 October 2023, has killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and injured over 172,000 others, according to Palestinian authorities.
