According to the file, S.S., for almost seven years, in the capacity of the official for culture, youth and sports, as well as the manager of the library in the Municipality of Kllokot, has benefited over 39 thousand euros without going to work at all, reports Klankosova.tv

“According to the well-founded suspicion, the defendant S.S., from 2019 until 02.03.2026, was employed in the Municipality of Kllokot, in the capacity of the official for culture, youth, sports and as the manager of the library of Kllokot, has intentionally misused his official duty by not fulfilling the same, and has benefited from the monthly salary from the budget of the Republic of Kosovo, despite the fact that the same has not shown up to work and has not exercised any work activity, in accordance with the duties provided for in the contract, damaging the budget of the Republic of Kosovo in the amount of 39,231,21 euros”, says the announcement.

The prosecutor’s office has announced that they have started investigations against the defendant, while within the legal deadlines it will submit the request for the assignment of the security measure to the Basic Court in Gjilan.

The authorities emphasize that the case is being treated as a priority, while further investigative actions will continue in coordination with the competent bodies. /Klankosova.tv
