Diego Maradona Jr., the son of Argentine soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona, cheered in support of Palestine during a solidarity match held in Naples, Italy.
The event was held at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona stadium, where the team “Palestine Stars” faced a team made up of former Italian soccer players in a friendly. The meeting was also attended by some former players of the Palestinian national team, as well as the president of the Palestinian Football Federation, Jibril Rajoub.
During the match, Palestinian flags were waved in the stadium and calls were heard in support of freedom and justice for the Palestinian people.
