The president of Atlético Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, has clearly reacted to the recent speculations linking the striker Julián Álvarez with a possible transfer to Real Madrid.

Speaking to the media, Cerezo has dismissed any possibility of the player leaving, stressing that the Madrid club does not intend to accept offers for him.

“The official offer of Real Madrid? Julián Álvarez is not for sale,” said the president of Atlético Madrid to El Chiringuito TV.

He further added that the club’s stance is firm and unchanging: “We don’t want to sell him.”

The statement comes at a time when the name of the Argentine forward has been closely linked with some of the biggest European clubs, including Real Madrid, fueling much speculation in the sports media.

However, the stance of Atlético Madrid leaders seems clear: Julián Álvarez is considered a key part of the project and is not available on the transfer market.
