War crimes: These are the two arrested in Zubin Potok

By order of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo, the Police of Kosovo have detained two people suspected of committing the criminal offense of “War crimes against the civilian population”.

According to the suspicions, M.J and M.B. during the period of the war, respectively during 1999, they allegedly committed crimes against the civilian population in the region of Mitrovicë, where as a result 23 civilians were killed, Klankosova.tv reports.

The suspects were detained for 48 hours by the decision of the Prosecutor’s Office. Special, while further procedural actions will be taken against them, in accordance with the legislation in force.
