Paris Saint-Germain is very close to the transfer of Ferran Torres from Barcelona, as the parties have reached an agreement in principle for a long-term contract.

According to the Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, the Spanish striker has agreed with the champions of France on a contract that will keep him in Paris until the summer of 2031.

Now PSG is preparing the first official offer that it will send to Barcelona for the card of the 26-year-old. According to the same source, Ferran Torres is ready to leave the Catalan club during this market.

Two clubs from the Premier League have also shown interest in the Spanish representative, however the player has decided to continue his career at PSG, making the French club his preferred destination.

It remains to be seen if Barcelona will accept the offer that PSG is expected to formalize in the coming days, while negotiations between the two clubs are expected to intensify.
