The commander of KFOR meets the head of the OSCE, they discuss security and cooperation in Kosovo

The Commander of the KFOR mission, Major General Ozkan Ulutash, held a meeting at the mission headquarters in Camp Film City, in Pristina, with the Secretary General of the OSCE, Feridun H. Sinirlioglu.

According to KFOR’s announcement, the current security situation in Kosovo and the region was discussed during the meeting, while Ulutash reaffirmed the commitment of the mission to guarantee a safe and peaceful environment for all citizens.

Also, the main activities and priorities of KFOR were reviewed at the meeting, with special emphasis on cooperation and continuous coordination with international partners.

KFOR has recalled that it continues to exercise its mandate in accordance with Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council, contributing to maintaining security and guaranteeing freedom of movement in Kosovo in a way impartial.

The announcement also states that the mission remains in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, in accordance with their responsibilities in the field of security.
