The European Union is expected to give a positive recommendation on visas abolition for Kosovars.
However, according to a Top Channel report, it will happen on a condition and it means establishing a special quota, which would foresee visa liberalization suspension, in case that a certain number of Kosovo citizens seeks asylum in EU countries. The quota was required by France and Germany.
Meanwhile, Slovenian Ambassador in Kosovo, Miljan Majhen, said that Slovenia supports the visa liberalization process for Kosovo and it is estimated that this process is well underway.
“Obviously, we want that all technical criteria is met, but I believe that the process is on the right track,” said Majhen.
