The Charge d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, commenting on the postage stamp promoted on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, has evaluated this step as a reflection of the close relationship that the two countries have between them.
She, together with the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Kosovo Post Office, issued the postage stamp on July 3.
“You have turned a simple piece of paper into a lasting symbol of the deep friendship between the United States and Kosovo. … Every letter that holds it will share our eternal story of freedom and friendship,” Prattipati wrote on social networks.
