Former president Vjosa Osmani, who was also the carrier of the list of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) in the elections of June 7, and candidate for president, said that they held several meetings in the offices of the LDK.
As she left the offices of the party that received over 16 percent of the votes in the election, Osmani said that she did not meet only with the chairman of the party Lumir Abdixhik, but that there have been other meetings.
She said that no signatures have been deposited for the dismissal of Abdixik.
“We have talked about how to move forward even more strongly. No signatures have been deposited so far”, Osmani said.
As of Wednesday, a group of delegates of the Assembly of the Democratic League of Kosovo has started collecting signatures to call an extraordinary meeting, in which which the request for the dismissal of the chairman Lumir Abdixhiku is intended to be put on the agenda.
As learned by KOHA, the signatures of one third of the delegates of the Assembly are needed to call the meeting, and then the request for the dismissal of the chairman can be put to a vote. Time sources have announced that until Sunday, the necessary 118 signatures from a total of 355 delegates were not obtained.
