Albania manager Gianni De Biasi has revealed he is struggling to persuade Adnan Januzaj to play for his side.

The Manchester United star is currently undecided as to which country he will represent, with the 18-year-old also eligible to play for Kosovo, Belgium, Serbia and Turkey.

However, De Biasi has not given up on the idea of Januzaj featuring for Albania but admits the possibility is fading.

“We’re stuck. We just don’t know,” he said.

“I and the heads of the federation have made every effort to contact him but the problem is his father, who does not give us a normal answer.

“By the way, I find it easier to get in touch with Pope Francis than Abedin Januzaj (Adnan’s father).”/skysports/
