Drastic decline of the LDK in the traditional bastion in Piran, Prizren

LDK suffered a decline in its traditional stronghold in the village of Piranë in Prizren.

According to published data, LDK suffered a significant drop in votes from December 2025 to June 2026.

In the elections of December 2025, LDK received 506 votes, while in June 2026 only 188 votes, which translates into a loss of 318 votes or about 63%, reports Gazeta e Prizren.

From the position of the most voted party in December, the LDK in June fell behind the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Vetëvendosje Movement. This change indicates a clear shift of the electorate or a lower mobilization of its voters in this area.

From the data in the photo for the Democratic League of Kosovo in Piran:

December 2025: 506 votes.
June 2026: 188 votes

So LDK has lost 318 votes compared to December 2025.
