European Union Crisis Management Commissioner Hadja Lahbib warned today that the humanitarian space in Gaza is “shrinking further” as Israeli military control expands and shifting front lines impede aid delivery and civilian access to essential services, reports Anadolu.

Families are trapped between borders that move without warning.” Her comments came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel currently controls about 60 percent of the Gaza Strip and signaled plans to expand that control to 70 percent, according to media reports. Israeli.
Netanyahu did not provide details on how such an expansion will be implemented. Israeli forces have already redrawn operational borders in parts of Gaza under a phased ceasefire framework originally outlined in a US-backed plan to end the war.
