EU confirms: Kosova has applied for a new country code

Brussels – The European Union confirms Kosovo Government’s news that Austria has applied on behalf of Kosovo for the allocation of a country code for Kosovo in line with the Brussels agreement on Telecom.

News was confirmed in a Twitter post by Angelina Eichhorst, director for Western Europe, the Western Balkans and Turkey in the department of Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the EU.
