EU in Kosova calls for calm and peaceful debate

Prishtina – EU Office in Kosova has released a statement ahead of today’s parliament debate and opposition protest over the demarcation vote.

“Ahead of the debate and the vote in the Kosova Assembly today on the ratification of the border/boundary agreement with Montenegro, the EU in Kosova calls on all participants to maintain a calm environment during the debate and the vote. The EU in Kosova also reminds that the right to protest is a democratic right, provided that it is carried out in a peaceful manner and in respect of Kosova laws.
