Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, emphasized that his country strongly supports the sovereignty, territorial integrity and multi-ethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports Anadolu.
In a post on the American social network X, Hoxha announced that in the framework of the Diplomacy Forum in Antalya (ADF 2026), he held a meeting with the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hans Christian Friedrich. Schmidt.
“Albania’s position towards BiH remains clear and unwavering: we strongly support its sovereignty, territorial integrity and multi-ethnic character”, wrote Hoxha.
He emphasized that the role of the Office of the High Representative remains essential for maintaining stability and for the full implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
According to Hoxha, peace, security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina are important not only for the future of the country, but also for the stability and prosperity of the Western Balkan region and the whole of Europe.
