Four citizens are fined 500 euros each for littering in Pristina

The Inspectorate of the Municipality of Pristina announced that on Friday, four fines in the amount of 500 euros were imposed on persons who threw bulky waste in public spaces.

According to the announcement of the municipality, the inspection teams were active in the field, carrying out controls and monitoring in different areas of the city. The authorities have warned that there will be no tolerance for polluters who are damaging the environment and preventing the normal use of public spaces.

“The Capital Inspectorate is constantly operating on the ground and each violator will face punitive measures”, says the response.

The municipality has called on citizens to help maintain cleanliness and report cases of littering through the toll-free number 0800. 12233 and 0800 12244.
