France to deploy 10,000 troops after attacks

Paris – After last week’s attacks, France is mobilizing 10,000 troops to provide security. Last week in attacks 17 people were massacred at satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, at a kosher supermarket, and on a police officer.
The attacks were protested all around the world and about 40 world leaders attended the Paris march to show the act of solidarity.
On Monday, a crisis meeting with the top officials was organized and President Francois Hollande ordered the deployment of troops within France to protect high-risk targets. Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian stated the need of deployment since “threats remain present.”
Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve announced that about 5,000 members of the security forces would be sent to protect Jewish schools in France. Prime Minister Manuel Valls said against following attacks, synagogues, as would mosques, would be protected.

The suspected accomplice fled France before attacks
According to a French police official, female suspect, Hayat Boumeddiene, linked to Paris terror attacks left France before the attacks and she crossed into Syria from Turkey.

Latest
