‘I’ll become president within a month, I got US support’

Prishtina – PDK leader Hashim Thaçi said that the ruling coalition is in close consultations for the election of president and according to him the phase of the election is in the final stage.

He said the election was going to happen during February.

‘We will respect all constitutional procedures. My election would l strengthen country’s institutions,’ he said.

As for changes in the government, Thaçi said no talks have taken place with regards to that, lajmi.net reports.

Thaçi also spoke about his meeting with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, saying that the United States support Kosovo institutions, the Brussels agreements as well as the process of election of the President.

Kosovo deputy PM also spoke about the fight against terrorism saying that Kosovo will be uncompromising in its fight.
