Prishtina – Kosovo institutions must use country’s tourist attractions in order to promote the tourism in the country.

In order to do that, there is a need for a better tourism strategy and the treatment of such an issue should be not left within the Division of Tourism in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

This being said, the director of the Association of Kosovo Alternative Tourism (SHTAK), Baki Hoti, argues that the government has not engaged much in developing the tourism, given the fact that the issue was left upon the Division of Tourism only.

“I believe this is what shows that tourism in the country is not among the priorities of Kosovo government,” Hoti has told RTK.
