Following the recent events in Kumanovo Kosovo has reinforced the control on the border with Macedonia and Serbia, properly.

Members of the special police units ROSU are deployed at the border as of Sunday evening. They are deployed in two groups, part of them are stationed at the crossing Hani i Elezi-Blace, the others on the border crossing between Kosovo, Serbia and Macedonia, near Gjilan.

Before making the decision on deploying the special units at the Kosovo-Macedonian border, President Atifete Jahjaga met with the PM Isa Mustafa and Minister of Interior Skender Hyseni where they discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and the recent events in Macedonia.
