Saturday, April 25th 2026

The Oncology Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) has informed the public that during each working day it treats a large number of patients, offering continuous services in chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

According to the announcement, every day over 300 patients are treated on an outpatient basis with chemotherapy and over 150 patients with radiation, reaching a total of over 450 patients per day work.

The clinic emphasizes that the work takes place normally, with a greater flow in the morning hours, while during the day the pace of services remains stable. Likewise, the high number of visits is also influenced by the presence of accompanying family members, who in many cases are two or more per patient.

The announcement also emphasizes that there are zero waiting lists for both chemotherapy and radiotherapy services, describing the clinic as one of the institutions with high performance in the region in this field.

QKUK adds that it aims to expand services in the constituent units in the future, depending on the possibilities and the increase of human capacities, especially of oncology specialists.

The Oncology Clinic informs the public that during each working day it treats over 300 outpatients with chemotherapy and over 150 patients with radiation treatment (radiotherapy), i.e. a total of over 450 patients every working day.
Work continues as normal, with a higher flow in the morning hours and a steady pace during the rest of the day. Also, the large number of people circulating in this clinic is also affected by the attendants – family members of the patients, who in most cases are two or more per patient, which has influenced the situations presented several times in some media.
Waiting lists are zero, both in chemotherapy and radiotherapy services, making the clinic one of the few in the region with these positive performances and quality service for citizens.
We are committed to extending the service to the constituent units as soon as this is possible with the limited human resources we have, especially in terms of oncology specialists.
