Prishtina – Radio Television of Kosova was attacked last night with a hand grenade , while according to an email that was sent today, a group of people who call themselves ‘Rugovians’, has claimed the attack and said it was carried out by them.

It is worth mentioning that following the antitank missile attack on the premises of Kosova Assembly also, it was this group that claimed the attack.

The reason why they attacked RTK relates to the fact that this TV network has ranked itself on the side of the government, publishing news in favor of the demarcation with Montenegro, the group said.

RTK’s union condemned the attack considering it an ugly act.

“Unidentified persons have attacked RTK’s building with hand grenades, when many of our colleagues were at their work place. Fortunately, none of them was hurt”, the Union said. The Union demands for the authors of the attack to be identified.

Both emails, one where the responsibility for the attack on RTK is taken and the other one about the Assembly attack, were sent from different addresses. However they were both signed by “Rugovians”.

The authenticity of the email has not been confirmed.
