Serbia admits it- Merkel demands Kosovo recognition

Belgrad – Marko Djuric, the head of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo, states there is a new amendment to the draft platform for Chapter 35.

Marko Djuric, the head of the Serbian government’s Office for Kosovo, stated there is a new amendment to the draft platform for Chapter 35 of the country’s EU pre-accession talks which additionally worsens the conditions for Serbia’s EU integration and exerts pressure on it to recognize Kosovo’s independence directly or indirectly.

“Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is seriously thinking about how to observe the future of the (Belgrade-Pristina) dialogue process, political life in the country, and perhaps even the government itself,” Djuric told Radio Television of Serbia late on Tuesday.

Germany is the proposer of this amendment, which is also supported by Great Britain and Croatia.
