The Basic Court in Prizren, Department of Serious Crimes, has imposed a one-month house arrest against the defendants Xh.B. and B.R., who are suspected of committing the criminal offense of “Empropriety in office in complicity and continuity”.

According to the decision of the judge of the preliminary procedure, the defendants are forbidden to leave their residence without the permission of the court and do not dare to contact people with whom they do not live or are not dependent on them. If they violate this measure, they will be detained. The implementation of the house arrest will be supervised by the Police Station, which has the right to make verifications at any time.

The appropriation of the funds took place in two time periods: August – November 2024 February – December 2025.

According to the investigations so far, the suspect Xh.B. has appropriated the amount of 1,250 euros, while the suspect B.R. has acquired 1,032 euros. The total damage caused by this illegal activity is estimated to be 2,282 euros.
