The prosecutor, Javorka Perlinqeviq, has asked for the maximum sentence, life imprisonment, for Naim Murseli and the other accused in the case of the murder of Liridona Ademaj.
During the presentation of the final word, the prosecutor emphasized that from the examined evidence it was proven that Murseli had an active role in the planning and organization of the crime, acting with motives of financial or moral gain.
According to her, the incident was presented as a robbery, while the victim was treated as “collateral damage”.
At the hearing it was also emphasized that the act of murder was committed by Granit Plava, who allegedly used a weapon secured through Mursel.
Another person involved, according to the indictment, mediated in securing the weapon and establishing contacts between the suspects.
The prosecution has announced that the accused also face with additional charges for failure to report the criminal offense and its perpetrators, based on the provisions of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
In the final request, Perlinjevic has proposed to the court to declare all the accused guilty, emphasizing that the way the crime was committed, the behavior after the event and the attempts to manipulate public opinion further aggravate their position.
She has added that there are no circumstances. mitigating in this case.
The prosecution has asked the court to, in accordance with article 364 of the KPRK, impose the maximum penalty for the criminal offense of “aggravated murder”, namely life imprisonment.
