The administration of the Assembly of Kosovo has announced that the constitutive session of the Assembly, which started on August 6, will continue tomorrow, August 8, at 11:00 a.m., in the plenary hall.

The constitution process remained unfinished in the first session, as the chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, did not propose a candidate for the chairman of the Assembly.

Kurti stated that, for moving forward with the constitution of the institutions, a political solution must also be reached for the issue of the president, in order to continue with the election of the Speaker of the Assembly and the formation of the Government.

Saturday’s session is expected to show whether the political parties have reached any agreement that would pave the way for the completion of the process of constitution of the new legislature.
