Two people are extradited, one from Germany and the other from France – wanted for attempted murder

The Kosovo police have announced that two people have been extradited from Germany and France, as they were wanted with international warrants for two separate cases of “attempted murder”.

According to the official announcement, the arrested persons were wanted internationally through INTERPOL and were extradited to Kosovo after the relevant legal procedures and the international cooperation of the authorities of Kosovo and the relevant countries, reports Klankosova.tv.

“The Kosovo police, respectively The Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and the institutions of justice, on April 23 and 24, 2026, have successfully extradited two persons wanted by justice, who were wanted internationally through INTERPOL. The suspects were wanted for two separate cases of ‘attempted murder’,” said the Police announcement.

The police said that the suspects were arrested by the authorities of the respective countries in Germany and France and the extraditions were carried out based on the laws in force and the close cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the countries from which the wanted persons were extradited. /Klankosova.tv
