The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has arrived in Azerbaijan to meet with his counterpart Ilham Aliyev, reports Anadolu.

This was confirmed by Serhiy Nikiforov, the Ukrainian president’s media spokesman, but according to the report of the state news agency Ukrinform, further details were not immediately known.

The visit follows President Zelenskyy’s trip to Arabia. Saudi, where he met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Zelenskyy on the American social network X announced that a “strategic security agreement” between the two countries is being “actively” developed in three main areas, namely the export of Ukrainian expertise and capabilities in air defense, energy cooperation and food security.
