“The Middle East is going through critical circumstances, amid deliberate efforts to rewrite its map,” Sisi said in a televised speech on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the liberation of Sinai from occupation. Israeli.

He called for the full implementation of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement reached last October, including the uninterrupted flow of humanitarian aid and the immediate start of reconstruction of the enclave.

Gaza was destroyed in the two-year war that he described as “genocide”. The first phase of the ceasefire included the exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners.

The Egyptian president also expressed Egypt’s categorical rejection of any attempt to relocate Palestinians.
