Prishtina – Kosovo government has approved a package of draft laws in order to amend the laws dealing with the judiciary.
Government has also given a green light to the amended draft-law on the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo, which according to the Minister of Justice, Hajredin Kuci, will be having 14 members, 10 prosecutors and four members of civil society.
During today’s meeting, Kosovo government adopted the draft law on the Kosovo Judicial Council, State Prosecutor, the one on amending the Law on Courts as well as the one on crime victims compensation, Klan Kosova reports. Prime Minister Isa Mustafa said with today’s adoption of the certain draft-laws, the government has fulfilled one of the required criteria for visa liberalization.
After its approval by the government, draft-laws are to be reviewed by Kosovo Assembly.
