Zejnullah Gashi is nominated for Chief State Prosecutor

The Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo (KPK) has nominated Zejnullah Gashi for the position of Chief State Prosecutor with five votes in favor.

After the voting process at the meeting of the KPK, the candidate Zejnullah Gashi received the support of the majority of the members of the Council, being proposed for decree to the President of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council of Kosovo, Arian Gashi, before the start of the voting, had presented the final report of Commission for the evaluation of candidates for the position of Chief State Prosecutor.

According to the final report, the candidate Zejnullah Gashi, chief prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina, was ranked first with 91.6 points.
