Effectives of the Special Forces Battalion of Albania have engaged in the 72-hour winter exercise “Ilire Arrow-26”, which is taking place in extreme mountain conditions, with snow and sub-zero temperatures.
The exercise aims to strengthen the physical and psychological abilities of the troops in difficult survival conditions, to test new weapons and equipment, as well as to increase the level of readiness and operational stability for action in harsh mountainous terrain.
Through this exercise, the maximum preparation of the Special Forces is aimed at the successful fulfillment of each mission, guaranteeing high professionalism and effective response in any situation.
The news was announced by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji, through a post on the Facebook social network
