Kosovo Customs has disposed of 146 thousand 886 pieces of counterfeit mouth hygiene spray, which carried the trademarks “Coca-Cola”, “Fanta” and “Sprite” in an unauthorized manner.

These goods were seized in Pristina by Customs after identifying suspicions of infringement of intellectual property rights and after verifications carried out in cooperation with the competent authorities and transmits the rights holders, Klankosova.tv.

After the completion of the legal procedures, the competent court has made a decision on their disposal.

“Counterfeit products, especially those related to hygiene and personal use, may pose a risk to the health of citizens, as they are not subject to safety and quality standards controls. For this reason, the disposal was carried out in accordance with the legislation in force and under customs supervision, in order to prevent their placement on the market,” the announcement states. customs.
