The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Prizren has secured a restraining order for the freezing of 42 properties, the value of which in the market reaches about 3 million euros.
According to the announcement, the investigations are related to a suspected scheme of falsification of documents and fraud, with the aim of illegal profit and preventing the return of properties to their legal owners.
Criminal proceedings are underway against three persons, while two of them have been assigned security measures to guarantee presence in the process.
The prosecutor’s office has announced that, after the end of the procedure, the properties are expected to be returned to the injured parties.
