The government in office has made a decision to increase maternity allowances from 325.00 euros to 500 euros.
This is what the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has announced.
“The great news that I want to share with you today is that from this month we will increase maternity allowances. While with the previous governments, maternity allowances were zero euros, almost this state does not there were mothers who gave birth for the first time in our government, we started them by paying from 170 euros for six months in a row for unemployed mothers and three months for those who are employed on top of the payment they already receive according to the labor law… Just like last year and this May, we are increasing maternity allowances as we promised from 325.9 euros per month to 500 euros per month, which is the minimum wage, in other words, we are not expecting it July”, he said
